Sun Prairie East and West band students prepare for a concert inspired by young storytellers

SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WMTV) - The public is invited to a musical performance on March 5 by Sun Prairie East and West band students that features music inspired by stories from two young authors.

Band students will perform the musical works “The Adventures of Paisley and Milo,” composed by Embree Way and “Limbitless,” composed by Ben Jaeckel.

“The Adventures of Paisley and Milo” comes from a story by Paisley. According to a newsletter from Sun Prairie Area School District, Paisley lives with multiple medical diagnoses, including Eosinophilic Esophagitis. Her story is about her and her cat, Milo, going on an epic journey.

“Limbitless” comes from a tale written by a young girl named River Blattner. The district’s newsletter notes that River’s hand formed differently before she was born. Her story is about embracing differences. Read on the website here.
