Jordan’s Life Once upon a time, there was a boy named Jordan. And every day, Jordan lived life just like a normal kid. He played sports, ran around, played with his younger sisters and had fun living a traditional kid life. Until one day, Jordan was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. Jordan did not know what that meant, but based on his parents looks he knew it could be concerning. Jordan was only 7 years old at the time of his diagnosis. He did not know at the time, but this would change his life. Jordan met with specialists and other people who have his disease to learn more about it and to help him understand what is going on in his body. Jordan went home with his new diagnosis and lived life to the fullest. About a year later, Jordan really started to understand more about his disease because he started losing strength in his legs and was constantly falling down. During that year, Jordan’s disease progressively got worse until when Jordan turned 9 years old, he had to get put in a wheelchair in order to get around. Jordan soon learned to live life in a wheelchair, but that didn’t stop him from doing the things he loved. He would constantly still want to play with friends, wheel around and play with his sisters. Jordan did not let his disease limit his life. A few years later Jordan started losing mobility in his upper body as well. Because Jordan lost mobility in both upper and lower parts of his body, Jordan had to get a motorized wheelchair in order to get around. Until finally one day, Jordan’s disease stopped progressing and finally stabilized. Jordan still has function of his head and neck, his hands and parts of his arms. Despite this disease, Jordan lives life to the fullest each and everyday, even though he is in a wheelchair and has limits. Jordan still loves to watch sports, despite not being able to play, and playing with his sisters. Jordan is a true hero. Done in the style of Imagine Dragons
