were either planting or eating fresh food. Oscar asked a Saturnian if he knew where the
magical element was. “I don’t, but I know someone who might,” he said. They followed him
to a yellow plant. “Here it is,” said the creature. “Could we have a little of it?” asked Coco. “Of
course, we have plenty,” said the Saturnian. As they prepared to leave, a tree began dying.
Coco said, “My mom taught me that when a plant is dying, you should remove the dead parts
so it can live.” The creatures followed her advice, and the tree survived.
When they arrived at Uranus, there wasn’t much around. But Coco saw a creature sitting in
a field of flowers. “We’re looking for an important element,” she said. “It’s in that cabin over
there,” said the Uranian. As they walked, they heard a cry. Coco turned and saw a cat-like
creature stuck in a tree. She climbed up, rescued it, and entered the cabin, where someone
was waiting. “Is this your animal?” she asked. “Yes,” he said gratefully. “And since you saved
it, I’ll give you our element.” He handed them a silver intergalactic coin.
On Neptune, many creatures were outside their homes. A boy approached and asked where
they were from. “We’re from Earth,” said Oscar, “looking for the elements to solve human
problems.” “I know where it is,” said the boy, “but it’s in the king’s castle. He never lets
anyone touch or see it.” They went to the castle. “You can see the Book of Knowledge,” said
the king, “if you pass my intelligence test.” “What kind of test?” asked Oscar. “A riddle,” said
the king. “How do you know Jupiter, Uranus, Saturn, and Neptune are getting married?”
Oscar thought hard, then answered, “Because they all have rings!” “Very good,” said the
king, handing them the Book of Knowledge.
Back on the spaceship, they realized they still needed one more element, a moon. They were
frustrated because they had already explored every planet. Coco decided to use the Book of
Knowledge. Reading it, they learned that the last element wasn’t on a planet but on a dwarf
planet. Coco thought of Pluto.
When they reached Pluto, it looked like a mix of all the planets. There were many plants and
peaceful Plutonians. They asked a gardener if he knew where the special moon was. “Yes,”
he said. “Follow me.” He led them to a heart-shaped place. “Just take a little of the dust here,
make sure it’s shiny, or it won’t be magical,” he said. Coco and Oscar collected the shiny
dust. “Here, take this container so it doesn’t disappear,” said the gardener. They thanked
him and returned to their spaceship to go back to Earth.
When they arrived, they combined all the elements and placed them on a platform outside,
and BOOM! Coco spoke to someone in the park, and they didn’t ignore her like before. When
she got home, her father was healthy again and ready to hug her. The world was finally
perfect.
“Now that the world is perfect,” said Oscar, “you know what we should do?”
“What?” asked Coco.
“We should go back to Pluto and have a party to celebrate!”
“That’s a great idea,” said Coco.
But as they flew toward Pluto, their spaceship crashed in the middle of the Milky Way.
When they got out, they had no idea where they were. Suddenly... Coco woke up.
